Massage on the Web

         Massage on  the Web Terms and Service Agreement

 

 

Overall Policies

  1. Your monthly hosting charges cover the cost of keeping your service running. This includes fixing technical problems, not updating text, images, etc.
  2. Some of our packages (listed below) include text changes once a month. Such changes need to be emailed to changes@massageontheweb.com with the specific page and text to change, for example, “please change the hours on my services page from: ‘Monday to Friday 8 AM to 9 PM’ to ‘Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM’. This allows us to see at a glance exactly which page and exactly what to change. We had occasionally accepted multiple changes during a month. This is no longer possible. So, please take a day to think over all the changes before sending them. IMPORTANT NOTE: There are exceptions to any rule and this is one of them. If you unexpectedly need to be out of town and want to inform your clients, we understand.
  3. If you have a new image you would like on your website, we may be able to change that as part of your monthly changes. To do so, the change must not require any formatting changes to the image, such as resizing, cropping, adjusting the color or doing touch ups. If the image is ready to just drop in place we will be happy to do that for you. If we must manipulate the image or the page it is going on, we need to charge for the time involved.
  4. Please ask us for estimates for any changes. We’ll be happy to give you one.
  5. Any changes to the design layout of a website are charged for. Design changes include changing colors, creating new images or layouts.
  6. All time-based billings are done in 30-minute units.
  7. All billing is done at the time of the work.

New Practice Special

Our New Practice Special was designed to offer our new and/or small office clients with a very cost efficient solution to getting their name and information on the web. This is a wonderful option for someone with a small budget that would like to increase their office traffic by creating a web presence in their community.

The New Practice Special includes:

  1. A web page, which includes a paragraph for an introduction or biography; services offered; rates; hours and contact information.
  2. We also include a link to a monthly article that we update every month.
  3. Changes to the design, image, color or font styles of the web page are not included; nor are text changes after the first week included.
  4. However, design, image, color and/or text changes are always available at our current hourly rate.

Professional Website

Our Professional Website packages are designed as the optimum solution for a massage therapy practice. They offer a content-rich website with a pleasing design for the best price we can offer.

Professional Websites include:

  1. One of our professional templates including a welcome page, a biography page, a testimonial page, a contact page, 4 article pages (3 non-changing articles and an article we update each month for you), a links page and a services and rates page.
  2. During the initial setup, we will add up to 2 personal images for you; these are usually a logo, office photo or portrait.
  3. We will also do an hour of work to make your website appear more prominently in search engines.
  4. Included in the monthly hosting charge, we offer one copy-and-paste text change per month. It must be in a text format that allows us to copy and paste the text directly into your website. We no longer offer text editing and writing at no charge. Please keep in mind that sending us an image to extract text from or submitting one change and then 2 days later another change are not included in the monthly hosting charge.
  5. However, design, image, color and/or text changes are always available at our current hourly rate.

Custom Website

Custom Websites are created by our design team to meet your specific needs. We will personally go over the creation of your site with you, and design it with custom images and logos for your content. We do not limit our Custom Websites to any page requirement or image or design style, you are free to have as many pages and images created as you like. Using this very flexible design style we can create a unique website tailored to your office.

Custom Websites include:

  1. A fully unique website based on your needs, including specialized logo and color design. We include whatever pages you need, such as a services page, biography page, testimonial pages, etc).
  2. A monthly article that we will update for you every month.
  3. Once the site has been completed, the monthly hosting charge includes one copy and paste text change per month. It must be in a text format that allows us to copy and paste the text directly in to your website. We no longer offer text editing and writing at no charge. Please keep in mind that sending us an image to extract text from or submitting one change and then 2 days later another change are not included in the monthly hosting charge.
  4. However, design, image, color and/or text changes are always available at our current hourly rate.

Website Transfer

The Website Transfer service allows us to modify and/or maintain your existing website. Usually this is done when you find yourself needing a responsible and active company to keep your site online and updated. We find therapists who have created their own site or maybe had a site created and hosted by a friend, but then find they need to have changes done on a timelier basis.

A Website Transfer includes:

  1. A copy of your site as it was, moved to our computer. Existing functions on your old site will be transferred to the new site and will function exactly as before. Be aware that occasionally functions on older sites only work for some visitors. We do not guarantee that we will make those old functions work for all visitors without an additional charge for debugging.
  2. One hour of text and/or design updates. This is usually updating your basic design, adding a logo, or updating your biography, services, or welcome pages.
  3. Once the site has been completed, the monthly hosting charge includes one copy-and-paste text change per month. It must be in a text format that allows us to copy and paste the text directly into your website. We no longer offer text editing and writing at no charge. Please keep in mind that sending us an image to extract text from or submitting one change and then 2 days later another change are not included in the monthly hosting charge.

E-commerce Shopping Cart

Since technology is advancing and the general public is getting more accustomed to on-demand shopping on the web, we now provide online shopping carts.

Our shopping cart system is very advanced and user friendly. It was built with the everyday user in mind, but offers even large and complex businesses invoicing, inventory, newsletters, client emailing and much more.

Our Ecommerce Shopping Cart includes:

  1. Installation of the shopping cart.
  2. Customization of your shopping cart’s home page to complement the design of your website. This usually includes color scheme and logo setup.
  3. 2 hours of training on the shopping cart. Keep in mind that most of the shopping cart functions are self-explanatory.
  4. After your shopping cart is setup, your monthly hosting charge includes one 30-minute training/help call per month. Upgraded support packages are available at additional cost to cover extended needs, from the beginning user to the advanced.
  5. Design/image/text changes and/or training are available at extra cost after your shopping cart as been completed. (For example, all customers receive a basic e-mail after they order, but we could customize that e-mail to include promotional text or on the customer sign-up page, we could modify it to request special information that might be particular to your office.

E-commerce Upgrade

For businesses that have a very large inventory or many customers and thus have special needs, we offer an advanced shopping cart. This upgrade is usually applied to the normal shopping cart when it is outgrown. Some of the many benefits of this shopping cart are 1) the ability to offer other websites a way to sell your products and have the shopping cart track their commissions, 2) gift certificates and 3) coupons.

The upgrade includes:

  1. Moving your product, customer and order data from your old shopping cart to your new one.
  2. The new upgrade cart will appear the same as your old cart to your customers.
  3. One hour of training to get you acquainted in any of the new features on the upgraded shopping cart or you can use this hour to have us setup one of the new features for you.
  4. After your shopping cart is setup, your monthly hosting charge includes one 30-minute training/help call per month. Upgraded support packages are available at additional cost to cover extended needs, from the beginning user to the advanced.
  5. Design/image/text changes and/or training are available at extra cost after your shopping cart has been completed. (For example, all customers receive a basic e-mail after they order, but we could customize that e-mail to include promotional text or on the customer sign-up page, we could modify it to request special information that might be particular to your office.
